Trina's Flu Shot Clinic

Ocean Bay resident Trina Maddox, LPN volunteered to create a medical clinic, free to residents who couldn't access their medical care providers or didn't have a medical care provider. The NYC Dept of Health distributed free N-95 masks & urged people impacted by mold to wear them. They recommended people living in heavily damaged areas such as the Rockaways get tetnus shots which they also distributed to local health clinics. Doctors volunteering at the medical clinic repeatedly requested and were denied the N-95 masks or tetnus shots. Trina Maddox organized a flu vaccination clinic instead. 12/23/12
